Baguette
The baguette is a French bread. In Israel, we love baguettes so much that we didn't even change its name, and we also call it the same.
הַבָּגֶט הוּא לֶחֶם צ ָרְפָתִי.
בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל אֲנַחְנוּ אוֹהֲבִים מְאוֹד בָּגֶט, אָז אֲפִילּוּ לֹא שִׁנִּינוּ לוֹ אֶת הַשֵּׁם וְגַם בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל אֲנַחְנוּ קוֹרְאִים לוֹ כָּכָה.
I don't know much French, but I learned that "baguette" means "small stick."
אֲנִי לֹא יוֹדַעַת הַרְבֵּה צָרְפָתִית אֲבָל לָמַדְתִּי שֶׁבָּגֶט פֵּרוּשׁוֹ מַקֵּל קָטָן.
The length of the baguette can reach up to a full meter, and if it's too long, we have in Israel a "half baguette," which is shorter and a bit more convenient, like a bun.
