הָאָדָם הוּא עֵץ הַשָּׂדֶה

The little child grows like a tree and becomes an adult.
אֲנָשִׁים רַבִּים מַסְכִּימִים עִם הַדִּימּוּי הַזֶּה.
הַיֶּלֶד הַקָּטָן צוֹמֵחַ כְּמוֹ הָעֵץ וְגָדֵל לִהְיוֹת אָדָם בּוֹגֵר.
Some people plant roots like trees, i.e they live in one place for a long time and expand their family and home.
יֵשׁ אֲנָשִׁים שֶׁנּוֹטְעִים שׁוֺרָשִׁים כְּמוֹ עֵצִים, כְּלוֹמַר: הֵם גָּרִים זְמַן רַב בְּמָקוֹם אֶחָד וּמַרְחִיבִים אֶת מִשְׁפַּחְתָּם וְאֶת בֵּיתָם.
A person has branches like a tree, meaning that a person brings children into the world and expands his family.
לָאָדָם יֵשׁ עֲנָפִים כְּמוֹ לְעֵץ, כְּלוֹמַר הָאָדָם מֵבִיא יְלָדִים לָעוֹלָם וּמַרְחִיב אֶת מִשְׁפַּחְתּוֹ.
A person, like a tree, produces fruit, as if to say, man's deeds can provide for the world what man can contribute, just as the fruit of the tree can provide nourishment for man.
הָאָדָם כְּמוֹ הָעֵץ יוֹצֵר פֵּירוֹת, כְּלוֹמַר מַעֲשָׂיו שֶׁל הָאָדָם יְכוֹלִים לְסַפֵּק לָעוֹלָם אֶת מָה שֶׁהָאָדָם יָכוֹל לִתְרוֹם כְּמוֹ שֶׁפֵּירוֹת הָעֵץ יְכוֹלִים לְסַפֵּק תְּזוּנָה לָאָדָם.
