עֵץ פְּרִי- עֲצֵי פְּרִי

Fruit tree
Already in the book of Genesis we encounter the phrase “עֵץ פְּרִי.” When God created the world, He decided that every 'עֵץ פְּרִי' "shall bear fruit after its kind” (Genesis 1:11), meaning that every tree that you plant will bear only one kind of fruit.
כְּבָ ר בְּסֵפֶר בְּרֵאשִׁית אֲנַחְנוּ פּוֹגְשִׁים אֶת הַבִּיטּוּי "עֵץ פְּרִי". כַּאֲשֶׁר אֱלֹהִים בָּרָא אֶת הָעוֹלָם, הוּא הֶחֱלִיט שֶׁכָּל "עֵץ פְּרִי עֹשֶׂה פְּרִי֙ לְמִינ֔וֹ" בְּרֵאשִׁית (א', יא) כְּלוֹמַר כָּל עֵץ שֶׁתִּשְׁתְּלוּ יוֹצִיא רַק סוּג אֶחָד שֶׁל פְּרִי.
I have a lemon tree in my garden and whenever I want lemonade, I go out to the garden to pick a few lemons from the tree.
יֵשׁ לִי עֵץ לִימוֹנִים בַּגִּינָּה וּבְכָל פַּעַם שֶׁאֲנִי רוֹצָה לִימוֹנָדָה אֲנִי יוֺצֵאת לַגִּינָּה לִקְטוֹף כַּמָּה לִימוֹנִים מֵהָעֵץ.
I also have a clementine tree, and they are all so sweet, like candies.
יֵשׁ לִ י גַּם עֵץ קְלֶמָנְטִינוֹת וְהֵן כָּל כָּךְ מְתוּקוֹת, כְּמוֹ סוּכָּרִיּוֹת.
How fortunate we are that God has decided as he did…

A man was walking in the desert and was hungry, thirsty and tired. He found a tree whose fruit was very sweet, and its shade was pleasant, and a great stream of water ran under it.
אָדָם הָלַךְ בַּמִּדְבָּר וְהָיָה צָמֵא, רָעֵב וְעָיֵף. הוּא מָצָא פִּתְאוֹם עֵץ אִילָן שֶׁפֵּרוֹתָיו מְתוּקִים מְאוֹד וְצִילוֺ נָאֶה וְאַמַּת מַיִם רְחָבָה עוֹבֶרֶת תַּחְתָּיו.
The man ate of its fruit, and drank of its water, and sat in its shade. Before he went on his way, he said to it:
אָכַל הָאָדָם מִפֵּרוֹתָיו וְשָׁתָה מִמֵּימָיו וְיָשַׁב בְּצִלּוֹ. לִפְנֵי שֶׁהָלַךְ לְדַרְכּוֹ, אָמַר לוֹ:
אִילָן אִילָן,
what shall I bless you?
If I say that your fruit will be sweet, they are already.
If I say, "Your shadow will be beautiful," it is already.
"If I say may a stream of water will run under you, it already runs.
אִילָן, אִילָן, בַּמֶּה אֲבָרֵךְ אוֹתְךָ? ,
אִם אוֹמַר שֶׁיִּהְיוּ פֵּרוֹתֶיךָ מְתוּקִים, הֲרֵי הֵם מְתוּקִים;
אִם אוֹמַר שֶׁיִּהְיֶה צִלְּךָ נָאֶה , הֲרֵי צִלְּךָ נָאֶה;
שֶׁתְּהֵא אַמַּת מַיִם עוֹבֶרֶת תַּחְתֶּיךָ, הֲרֵי אַמַּת מַיִם עוֹבֶרֶת תַּחְתֶּיךָ
So I will bless - May all the plantings that are planted will be just as you are!
