With silk gloves
When we use this expression, we want to tell someone that they are being too gentle with someone else.
כְּשֶׁאֲנַחְנוּ מִשְׁתַּמְּשִׁים בַּבִּיטּוּי הַזֶּה אֲנַחְנוּ רוֹצִים לוֹמַר לְמִישֶׁהוּ שֶׁהוּא מִתְנַהֵג יוֹתֵר מִדַּי בַּעֲדִינוּת עִם מִישֶׁהוּ אַחֵר.
Listen to the story: Yossi was a very nervous man. He would yell a lot and get angry about everything.
שִׁמְעוּ סִיפּוּר: יוֹסִי הָיָה אִישׁ מְאוֹד עַצְבָּנִי. הוּא הָיָה צוֹעֵק הַרְבֵּה וּמִתְרַגֵּז מִכָּל דָּבָר.
His wife, Ilana, didn't want to upset him and didn't want to fight with him, so she treated him like with silk gloves. That is: gently, she spoke to him nicely (instead of throwing him down the stairs..).

Silk is a very delicate fabric, when we have silk gloves on our hands, we avoid doing all sorts of things so as not to tear the silk.
