תַּפּוּחַ הוּא אֶחָד הַפֵּירוֹת הַפּוֹפּוֹלָרִיִּים וְהָאֲהוּבִים בְּיוֹתֵר בְּרַחֲבֵי הָעוֹלָם. תַּפּוּחִים נֶחֱשָׁבִים כְּמָזוֹן בָּרִיא בִּזְכוּת תְּכוּלַת הַסִּיבִים הַגְּבוֹהָה שֶׁלָּהֶם, הַוִּיטָמִינִים וְהַמִּינֵרָלִים שֶׁהֵם מְכִילִים.

הַשִּׁימּוּשִׁים בְּתַפּוּחִים בַּמִּטְבָּח הֵם רַבִּים וּמְגוּוָּנִים. נִיתָּן לֶאֱכוֹל אוֹתָם טְרִיִּים כַּחֲטִיף, לְהוֹסִיף לְסָלָטִים, לֶאֱפוֹת בַּתַּנּוּר, לְהָכִין מֵהֶם רִיבּוֹת וּרְטָבִים, וְגַם לְהִשְׁתַּמֵּשׁ בָּהֶם בְּמַאֲפִים כְּמוֹ פַּאי תַּפּוּחִים וְעוּגוֹת.
